Rollercoaster 21 to decide WMRA World Cup long-distance title in Poland

The WMRA Mountain Running World Cup arrives in Poland on Saturday, September 19, for the fourteenth fixture of the 2026 calendar following stops across Portugal, China, Spain, the United States, Austria, France, Switzerland, and Italy. Integrated into the Three Lakes Marathon program in the western Beskid Mały range, the Rollercoaster 21 will serve as the concluding race of the Long Distance discipline after earlier rounds at the Transvulcania Half Marathon, Broken Arrow, Sierre-Zinal, and Trofeo Nasego.

Although this event resolves the category podiums, the global tour will wrap up its complete season in Canada this October with the Uphill and Up & Down finales.

6-kilometer course incorporates 1,511 meters of climbing alongside 1,543 meters of descent. Participants immediately encounter a steep ascent exceeding 500 meters across the first three kilometers toward Czupel before traversing a technical downward stretch into Czernichów.

After navigating a footbridge across the Soła River, competitors face an intense 250-meter climb along a single kilometer beside the Mount Żar ski lift, eventually descending to Kozubnik and tackling a final short incline prior to the finish line.
