Riza opens up on Cardiff job, assisting Cole in Italy and being banned in Turkey

Omer Riza is looking to return to management in the English Football League following a stint in Italy. He recently served as an assistant to Ashley Cole at Cesena, where the pair attempted to implement a possession-based style of play before departing due to a misalignment in club ambitions.

Riza, who previously managed Cardiff City and Leyton Orient, also discussed his varied career path, which includes playing in the Netherlands and Turkey, as well as overcoming a global football ban and a recent ankle injury.
