Richard Kilty’s young sprinting talent Celine Obinna-Alo is only getting started

Rising sprinting prospect Celine Obinna-Alo has quickly established herself as a significant talent under the guidance of mentor Richard Kilty. Since joining the Gateshead Harriers at age 12, the 16-year-old has secured a European Under-18 bronze medal and set a British under-17 indoor record of 7.34 seconds in the 60m.

Kilty, who began coaching the teenager in 2024, has publicly praised her natural ability and potential for future success.
