Red Sox News & Links: Willson Contreras WILL make the playoff roster vs. Yankees

Boston has received positive news regarding Willson Contreras, who is expected to be ready for the opening game of the Wild Card Round despite a brief scare over a hand issue. However, the relief corps faces a significant setback after Tyron Guerrero picked up a lat strain that sidelines him for the initial rounds of the postseason.

Tanner Houck struggled in his recent start, and manager Chad Tracy will need to navigate ongoing pitching questions as the team prepares to open play on Tuesday following the conclusion of the regular season schedule.
