Real Madrid considering Van Dijk - Tuesday's gossip

Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid are reportedly tracking Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk ahead of a potential free transfer when his current agreement expires after the conclusion of the campaign. Meanwhile, German giants Bayern Munich are preparing a long-term extension for French forward Michael Olise that would run through 2032, though the club has dismissed speculation linking them with Everton netminder Jordan Pickford.

Bayern are also monitoring Barcelona defender Jules Kounde while Tottenham Hotspur maintain an interest in defender Kim Min-jae. In England, Manchester United are exploring a potential approach for Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta to bolster their attacking ranks alongside discussions regarding a new deal for full-back Luke Shaw.

Elsewhere, former Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian is scheduled to commence training sessions with Bologna following his departure from Inter Milan.
