Ravindra Jadeja recently explained the inspiration behind his unconventional dancing celebration during the second match of the three-game series against the West Indies. The veteran left-arm spinner managed to break a prolonged dry spell in the 50-over format by claiming two wickets, dismissing both Amir Jangoo and Alzarri Joseph during the high-scoring encounter in Guwahati.
Following Jangoo's dismissal, which was caught by Ruturaj Gaikwad, Jadeja broke into a spontaneous dance routine modeled after a song associated with actor Emraan Hashmi. He later admitted that the gesture was entirely instinctive and driven by his long-awaited success with the ball.
During the same fixture, India successfully pursued a massive target of 406 runs with eight wickets remaining, bolstered by an unbeaten double century from skipper Shubman Gill and another hundred by Rohit Sharma.
