Ravens moving rookie Vega Ioane from guard to center after losing Jovaughn Gwyn, Ethan Pocic to injury

The Baltimore Ravens are dealing with severe injury problems at the center position. Both starting center Jovaughn Gwyn and his backup Ethan Pocic suffered long-term issues during the team's thirty-four to thirty-one victory against the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil.

To address the sudden shortage, coaching staff will shift rookie first-round selection Vega Ioane from his right guard spot to snap duties for the upcoming contest with the Tennessee Titans. Baltimore previously lost projected starter Danny Pinter to a patellar tendon tear during training camp and watched Tyler Linderbaum depart in free agency.

Ioane stepped in during the final two offensive series against Dallas to help secure the win. Andrew Vorhees filled in at right guard during the game and is expected to take on a larger role moving forward.
