The Baltimore Ravens' season took a sharp turn for the worse as they suffered a crushing 36-10 defeat to the Buffalo Bills, compounded by a pair of key injuries to their quarterback depth. Lamar Jackson exited the game early in the first quarter after an incomplete pass, aggravating a right thumb injury that sidelined him for the remainder of the contest.
The Ravens’ backup, Tyler Huntley, also left with a toe injury midway through the half, forcing undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano into his NFL debut as the third-string signal-caller. With Jackson and Huntley out, Baltimore’s offense faltered under the pressure of Josh Allen’s dominant performance, as the Bills’ star quarterback threw for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception while adding a rushing score on seven carries.
The Bills’ ground game, led by James Cook’s 80-yard, one-touchdown effort, and receiving corps—including Dalton Kincaid and DJ Moore—bulldozed Baltimore’s defense, which managed just 144 total yards. Fagnano, making his first career start, completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards but threw an interception, while Derrick Henry’s limited rushing attempts (11 carries, 53 yards) did little to offset the offensive struggles.
The loss drops the Ravens to 4-4 and leaves them without their franchise cornerstone for the foreseeable future, while the Bills extend their winning streak to 6-1 with a commanding victory.
