Georgia Tech quarterback Alberto Mendoza has emerged as a bright spot for his squad despite a difficult one-three start to the campaign following his transfer from Indiana. Through four games, Mendoza has completed sixty-eight percent of his passes for nine75 yards, six touchdowns, and three interceptions while operating behind a heavily revamped offensive line and a struggling ground game.
ESPN analyst Bill Connelly recently slotted Mendoza fifty-third among power four signal-callers, placing him ahead of several conference rivals such as Walker Eget, Billy Edwards Junior, Tait Reynolds, Mason McKenzie, and Steve Angeli.
