Meanwhile, exceptional value buys also cemented their status, such as Harry Kane entering the top ten list in tenth position.

Back in the 2014-15 season, the future England captain was valued at just £5m as an unproven Tottenham reserve behind Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor.
