Ranji Trophy 2026-27: Arya returns as Delhi looks to get campaign going against Gujarat at Palam

Delhi aims to recover from a heavy opening loss to Bengal as they prepare to host Gujarat in their upcoming Ranji Trophy match. The team welcomes back Priyansh Arya to the squad, hoping his batting prowess will bolster a lineup that struggled in their previous outing.

Coach Vijay Dahiya has expressed expectations for a more impactful performance from pace bowler Navdeep Saini, while noting that the pitch conditions may present unique challenges regarding bounce. Gujarat enters the contest with momentum following a dominant victory over Odisha, highlighted by a century from Vedant Trivedi and a seven-wicket haul from Siddharth Desai.
