Watford bounce back from nightmare week to beat Charlton

Watford secured a much-needed 2-0 victory over Charlton, providing relief for head coach Alessio Dionisi following a difficult period that included heavy losses to Burnley and Cardiff. The win, which marked the team's first clean sheet in over seven months, was sealed by goals from Luca Kjerrumgaard and Jordan Zemura.

Charlton struggled throughout the match, extending their winless streak to eight games as they faced frustration from their supporters. Despite pre-match protests aimed at owner Gino Pozzo, the home crowd remained supportive as the Hornets claimed only their second win in three months.
