Rangers 2026-27 season preview and prediction

Following a dismal 34-39-9 campaign that landed them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, the New York hockey club is looking to rebound under head coach Mike Sullivan. General manager Chris Drury addressed the squad's injury woes and depth issues by acquiring top scorer Pavel Dorofeyev on a seven-year extension, alongside roster additions like Oliver Bjorkstrand, Eeli Tolvanen, Marcus Petterson, and Sean Durzi.

The team aims to piece together a healthier year with returning leaders such as captain J.T. Miller, Adam Fox, and Mika Zibanejad.
