The Los Angeles Rams suffered a pair of significant injuries following their 37-34 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills, further complicating their 2-4 start to the season. Wide receiver Davante Adams, a key target for quarterback Matthew Stafford, left the game in the final minute with a ruptured hamstring and is expected to miss six to ten weeks.
Adams, who ranks eighth in the league with 480 receiving yards and four touchdowns this season, had already dealt with a hamstring issue last year that cut short his regular season. Meanwhile, kicker Blake Grupe, acquired just last week after the team released Harrison Mevis, tore his ACL during a tackle attempt on a kick return and will miss the remainder of the season.
The Rams will now face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7 without two critical contributors.
