Rams’ star Myles Garrett to miss Week 2 vs. Giants

Los Angeles Rams defensive end Myles Garrett is slated to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery, which will sideline him for a minimum of four contests. The club intends to move the two-time AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year to injured reserve, officially ruling him out for the upcoming matchup against the New York Giants.

The major offseason acquisition had experienced limited participation throughout training camp due to persistent knee trouble.

Garrett found little success during the Rams' season-opening 27-7 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers in Australia on Thursday. The star pass rusher will be absent during a challenging sequence of upcoming games that includes showdowns with the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills.
