Rams’ Sean McVay wants no part of playing in Australia ‘ever again’

Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay expressed zero desire to schedule future fixtures in Australia following a rough international trip. Despite complimenting the crowd energy down under, the coach wants to erase the journey from memory after his squad suffered a 27-7 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers in their regular-season opener.

The Rams arrived fewer than 48 hours prior to kickoff, contributing to an anemic offensive display that generated a mere 168 yards through the air.

Heading into an upcoming Week 2 matchup versus the New York Giants, McVay has taken personal responsibility for revitalizing an aerial attack featuring quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Davante Adams. The club also faces additional roster adversity, as defensive tackle Aaron Donald's status remains unresolved and Myles Garrett has been placed on injured reserve.
