Rams put TE Terrance Ferguson on injured reserve

Tight end Terrance Ferguson has been sidelined by the Rams and shifted to the injured reserve list ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Eagles due to an ankle injury. Prior to this absence, the pass-catcher secured seven receptions totaling 63 yards alongside a touchdown this year, following a previous campaign featuring 11 catches for 231 yards and two scores.

Additionally, the franchise promoted wide receiver Alex Bachman and defensive end Larrell Murchison from the practice squad to the active roster. Meanwhile, cornerback Jaylen Watson and defensive tackle Aaron Donald will also miss the upcoming weekend contest because of shoulder and back ailments respectively.
