Rams place K Blake Grupe on IR

The Los Angeles Rams have placed kicker Blake Grupe on injured reserve following a knee injury sustained during a tackle on his first kickoff of the game. Grupe, who had just connected on a 44-yard field goal to seal the Rams’ second scoring drive, was seen in the locker room using crutches and wearing a leg brace.

The move comes as the team seeks to replace Harrison Mevis, who was released last week. With the Rams sitting at 2-4, the injury adds another layer of uncertainty ahead of their upcoming Week 7 road trip to face the Las Vegas Raiders.
