Tennessee senior defensive back and return specialist Qua Moss earned a spot on the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll for Week 4. The recognition follows a narrow 20-17 defeat against the top-ranked Texas squad on September 26.
During the matchup, Moss contributed five tackles and defended a pass on defense. He also made a major impact on special teams by returning three punts, highlighted by a 57-yard touchdown scamper that leveled the score at 10-10.
Through the initial four games of the campaign, Moss has accumulated 16 total tackles, two tackles behind the line of scrimmage, one pass breakup, 95 punt return yards, and the single punt return score. He currently stands at fourth place across the SEC with an average of 13.6 yards per punt return.
Previously competing for Kansas State, Moss transferred to the Volunteers following the conclusion of the 2025 football season. The Paul Hornung Award is presented every year by the Louisville Sports Commission to celebrate the top utility player in collegiate football.
