The Milwaukee Bucks closed out their preseason home schedule with a tough 125–104 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night, marking their third straight defeat in exhibition play. Kam Jones led the Bucks with 23 points, while Brayden Burries and Kasparas Jakucionis added 19 and 18 respectively, but defensive lapses and turnover-heavy possessions left Milwaukee struggling to contain Chicago’s offense.
The Bulls’ Matas Buzelis was the standout performer with 19 points, as Milwaukee’s perimeter defense repeatedly broke down, allowing Chicago to build leads in multiple quarters. The Bucks’ starting lineup of Jakucionis, Burries, Ousmane Dieng, Pete Nance, and Jericho Sims showed flashes of offensive promise early, including a 10-0 run in the first quarter, but inconsistent execution and a 17-turnover night ultimately proved costly.
By halftime, the Bulls had pulled away with a 62–39 lead, and despite a late third-quarter surge—highlighted by Jakucionis’ clutch floater and Burries’ steal-turned-three—the Bucks could not recover from a defensive collapse that saw them outshot and outplayed for much of the game.
