Players left in ‘unusual’ position at latest PGA Tour event with no play on Sunday due to poor weather

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship has been reduced to a 54-hole event following a complete washout on Sunday. High winds in Southampton forced organizers to suspend play, leaving co-leaders Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman to finish their tournament on Monday morning.

The pair will resume their battle for the title starting at the 16th hole, with both golfers currently tied at 16 under par. A victory would significantly impact the FedEx Cup standings for both competitors, particularly for Power, who stands to jump from 103rd to 53rd place with a win.
