Pittsburgh Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr OUT vs. Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers will miss cornerback Joey Porter Jr. as he sits out their upcoming Thursday night contest against the Cleveland Browns due to a back issue.

Porter logged full participation early in the week before experiencing a limited designation on Wednesday. Meanwhile, running back Rico Dowdle remains sidelined for a consecutive contest because of a toe ailment picked up earlier against the New England Patriots, leaving Jaylen Warren in line to handle the bulk of the rushing load.

In the secondary, Jalen Ramsey and Brandin Echols carry questionable tags into the fixture while managing a fractured wrist and concussion protocols respectively. The team also faces a historical hurdle as they search for their initial Thursday victory against Cleveland.
