Pietersen has England players ‘buzzing’ but McCullum delivers Carse warning

Kevin Pietersen has officially commenced his tenure advising England's limited-overs squads, stepping in as a dedicated mentor. Head coach Brendon McCullum spearheaded the hiring, assigning the ex-international cricketer an explicit mandate to scrutinize the team culture and actively question his decisions.

Pietersen's opening day featured observing practice sessions at the Utilita Bowl immediately following an introductory speech that energized the squad.
