Peyton Manning makes appearance at Baylor-McCallie game with son Marshall back in action

NFL legend Peyton Manning was spotted in the stands on Friday, October 2, to watch the historic local rivalry matchup between Baylor and McCallie. The Hall of Fame quarterback attended because his son, Marshall, plays as a freshman backup quarterback for the Baylor squad.

Marshall recently returned to action following a multi-week absence due to a foot injury, playing the entire fourth quarter last week in a 45-17 triumph against Montgomery Bell Academy. Earlier in the season, during the team's opening fixture versus Brentwood Academy, Marshall completed his lone pass attempt to four-star athlete Antwaun Adams for a first down.

Baylor entered the Friday night contest ranked twelfth nationally in the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 and seventh in the southeast region's Super 15 standings.
