Penn State football news: Fans boo Campbell, PSU after Wisconsin

Frustration boiled over in Happy Valley as the Wisconsin Badgers handed Matt Campbell and his team a 24-20 defeat, leaving supporters to voice their displeasure as players walked off the turf. The Nittany Lions initially built a 17-0 advantage before halftime, only to watch their lead vanish as the visitors mounted a furious comeback.

Quarterback Rocco Becht struggled through the air with 114 yards on 12 completions, while James Peoples led the rushing attack with 67 yards and Chase Sowell paced the receivers. The setback drops the squad to 3-1 as they prepare to face David Braun's Northwestern crew at Ryan Field.
