Pauls aims for December fight as bout is cancelled

Boxer Pauls is eyeing a return to the ring before December in order to prepare for a major contest scheduled for February. Pauls previously claimed the British championship in July of 2024 by defeating Nathan Heaney in a rematch, following a draw in their initial championship meeting four months prior.

That victory was followed by a European title defeat against Denzel Bentley in December 2024, and a subsequent low-profile appearance on a Torquay card last year ahead of his matchup with Thompson.
