Patriots’ young pass rushers make their mark in win over Steelers

The New England Patriots captured their initial victory of the regular season by defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 20-3 at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. New England's defensive unit controlled the contest completely, limiting their opponents to a single field goal and securing a comfortable home-opener triumph.

During the game, rookie edge rusher Gabe Jacas received words of encouragement from opposing quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Additionally, Elijah Ponder contributed to the defensive dominance with a 19-yard fumble recovery returned for a touchdown, while TreVeyon Henderson added a 39-yard rushing score for the victors.
