Patriots news: Pats-Raiders keys to victory, building on success

The Patriots aim to extend their winning momentum into Week 5 with a home showdown against the Raiders, where the front seven will need to step up after a dominant win over Buffalo. Quarterback Drake Maye was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week, reinforcing the team’s offensive surge, while the defense braces for a challenge from Raiders tight ends Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer.

Injuries to key players like Mack Hollins and Stevenson have raised concerns about depth, but the Patriots remain focused on building on their recent success. The game also marks a historic matchup between head coaches Mike Vrabel and Bill Belichick, adding extra intrigue to the contest.

Meanwhile, the team honored kicker Adam Vinatieri, and second-year running back Kyle Williams continues to prove his potential despite lingering on the depth chart.
