The Carolina Panthers built a 10-0 lead early in the first half before the Philadelphia Eagles staged a late rally to cut the deficit to 10-7 at halftime. Tanner McKee, stepping in for an injured Jalen Hurts, orchestrated a 10-play, 78-yard drive that ended with Dameon Pierce scoring on a 2-yard touchdown run with just over two minutes left in the period.
The Eagles' scoring drive was aided by a 22-yard defensive pass interference penalty on rookie Will Lee, which set up Pierce’s touchdown after Lee’s second such call of the game. Carolina’s offense remained efficient, with Bryce Young completing 12 of 21 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown, while Tetairoa McMillan added five receptions for 79 yards.
McKee, meanwhile, went 13-of-23 for 94 yards, with Dallas Goedert contributing four catches for 38 yards. On the ground, Carolina outgained the Eagles 178 to 110 yards through the first half.
