Panthers CB Jaycee Horn to miss significant time with a quad injury

Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn is facing a lengthy absence due to a suspected quad tear sustained during an eighteen to twenty-one defeat against Cleveland. Additional medical evaluations will determine if he remains sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.

This setback follows a recent offseason four-year contract extension and comes after he recorded two pass breakups and six tackles across three games this year. Meanwhile, teammate Jalen Coker received more encouraging news regarding his own quad issue.

In the defensive backfield, Mike Jackson, rookie Will Lee, and Akayleb Evans filled in at the cornerback position during Sunday's contest.
