Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, a potential top pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, will miss Saturday’s showdown against Nebraska after being ruled out with a concussion. Moore, who led the Ducks to a College Football Playoff berth last season with 3,558 all-purpose yards and 30 touchdowns, has now missed three straight weeks of practice and two consecutive games since suffering the injury against USC on September 26.
His absence leaves Oregon’s quarterback situation in flux, with Dylan Raiola and Brock Thomas competing for the starting role. Raiola, who started against UCLA but was replaced by Thomas in the fourth quarter due to a poor performance, will face Nebraska for the first time since leaving the program as its starting quarterback.
Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has indicated that the competition among quarterbacks will continue, with sophomore Akili Smith Jr. also in the mix.
Meanwhile, Nebraska’s defense, led by coordinator Rob Aurich, is preparing for any of Oregon’s potential starters, focusing on countering the Ducks’ offensive strengths regardless of who takes the field.
