During a marquee matchup on Saturday evening, Oregon quarterback Dante Moore suffered a frightening head injury after his helmet collided with the turf during a scramble. Although the signal-caller was kept down on the field for roughly fifteen minutes and will need to sit out upcoming games due to a concussion, subsequent medical evaluations confirmed he avoided any additional injuries and is anticipated to make a full recovery this year.
In the absence of their star starter, backup quarterback Dylan Raiola stepped in to guide the Ducks to a 41-27 victory over USC in Los Angeles. Raiola completed 19 of 25 pass attempts for 289 yards and two scores, while running backs Dierre Hill Jr.
and Jordon Davison combined for 238 yards from scrimmage to help secure the win. The program now enters a scheduled bye week before hosting UCLA on October 10.
