The Oregon Ducks will showcase their recruiting depth this weekend as they host a record crowd of prospects on the sideline for their conference opener against UCLA. Among the standouts is five-star quarterback commit Will Mencl, who is leading Chandler High School with 1,659 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and a 65.5% completion rate this season.
Mencl will get his first look at Oregon’s new starter, freshman Dylan Raiola, who will replace the injured Dante Moore in his first game. The Ducks are also bringing in multiple 2028 targets, including five-star edge rusher Kameron McGee, the No.
2 recruit in his class, who has already made three trips to Eugene. McGee, a sophomore with 10.5 sacks last season, is weighing offers from Oregon and Notre Dame, where his teammate Brayden Parks recently committed.
Other high-profile visitors include four-star edge rusher George Parkinson IV, who is considering Oregon alongside Ohio State and Penn State, and dual-threat quarterback Tristin Gaines, a four-star with 2,016 passing yards and 22 touchdowns this year. The Ducks’ 2028 class also features four-star wideout Jayce Halasz and tight end Presley DeLance, both top-tier West Coast prospects.
