The Oregon Ducks football program will debut a brand-new uniform design named Origin of Speed following their upcoming bye week on October 10 for a matchup against the UCLA Bruins. Developed in a two-year collaboration with Nike, the fresh look incorporates a dark green base called Night Forest alongside a novel shade titled Green Strike and bright volt accents.
Symbolism features prominently throughout the final release of the three-year Generation O lineup, drawing inspiration from track and field history at Hayward Field and the architectural layout of Autzen Stadium.
Design choices pay homage to several notable figures and past moments associated with the school. Side leg panels display a forward-leaning text mark celebrating a memorable touchdown by former wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas during the 2013 Fiesta Bowl, while center running lane markings highlight numbers previously worn by late team members Spencer Webb and Khyree Jackson.
