Olivia Miles allegedly calling Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham ‘freaks’ in viral clip explained

A widely circulated social media video falsely accused Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles of hurling insults at Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham. The fictitious online post alleged that Miles complained about the Indiana Fever players during the conclusion of the WNBA regular season.

In reality, the Minnesota Lynx closed out their regular season schedule with an 86-66 victory against the Indiana Fever. That late-season momentum failed to translate into the postseason, however, as the Lynx dropped the opening game of their first-round playoff series to the New York Liberty by a score of 91-75.

The misleading clip originated from an X account notorious for manufacturing false statements in an apparent attempt to stir up friction among rival player fanbases.
