Ohio State Put on Upset Alert Before Iowa Game

Hank Brown connected with Reece Vander Zee on a late sixteen yard scoring pass to secure a narrow twenty to nineteen victory for the Hawkeyes against Michigan, setting the stage for a high stakes meeting with Ohio State. Bill Connelly and Josh Pate have both highlighted this fixture as a significant test for the visiting squad, noting that top receiver Jeremiah Smith poses a major challenge for the opposing defense.

Following a previous defeat against Texas, the visiting roster faces a demanding stretch that includes encounters with Indiana, Southern California, Oregon, and Michigan.

Quarterheading the offense, Julian Sayin enters the upcoming contest after recording four scoring passes and three hundred sixty seven yards during a previous win over Illinois. The team previously suffered a lopsided fifty five to twenty four defeat at this same location back in two thousand seventeen, though leadership under Ryan Day aims to maintain total focus ahead of Saturday.

The opposition boasts a top ten defensive unit with two shutouts this year, despite conceding over one hundred receiving yards to a pair of opposing players during their most recent outing.
