NY Giants release WR Odell Beckham Jr., per reports

The New York Giants have parted ways with veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. following a quiet start to the regular season. Reporters Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport broke the news regarding the transaction.

During his brief return to the franchise this summer, Beckham struggled to secure playing time on offense and was primarily limited to blocking and decoy duties without contributing on special teams. Following his departure, the team's active roster features just three remaining wide receivers: Malik Nabers, Darnell Mooney, and Malachi Fields.
