Northern Ireland held to frustrating goalless drew with Hungary

Northern Ireland played to a scoreless stalemate against Hungary at home, missing out on a chance to secure maximum points to begin their Group B2 campaign in the Nations League. Despite aggressive early pressure and multiple scoring opportunities from Patrick Kelly and Isaac Price, the home side failed to break the deadlock.

Manager Michael O'Neill expressed frustration with the officiating as multiple players and the coach himself received cautions. Defensive resolve ensured the clean sheet remained intact through late pressure from the visitors.
