No handshake, but Shreyas Iyer, Sahibzada Farhan exchange smiles in IND vs PAK final

During the coin flip ahead of the Asian Games gold medal match at Korogi Sports Park, India leader Shreyas Iyer and Pakistan leader Sahibzada Farhan skipped the traditional greeting. Despite omitting the handshake, both skippers shared pleasant smiles and acknowledged one another prior to the opening ball.

After winning the coin flip, Iyer elected to put his team into bat first. The Indian squad enters this championship contest maintaining the exact same lineup that took the field during their previous semifinal fixture.
