The No. 4 Kentucky Wildcats closed out their home stand with a decisive 3-0 sweep over Arkansas volleyball on Sunday, overcoming a shaky start to secure a 25-23, 25-11, 25-17 victory.
Despite Arkansas’s early momentum and a tight first set, Kentucky adjusted mid-match, with standout performances from Brooklyn Deleye (15 kills, 10 digs) and a strong defensive effort—including 47 digs across all three sets—that helped the Wildcats limit Arkansas to a .188 hitting percentage. Coach Craig Skinner noted his team’s improved transition play and service game, particularly in the second and third sets, as key factors in the win, even with starting libero Molly Tuozo absent due to illness.
The SEC-leading Wildcats now stand at 15-3 overall and 7-1 in conference play, while Arkansas (9-8, 1-5) has dropped seven of its last eight matches, including losses to three ranked teams despite a recent win over No. 12 Texas A&M during their home stand.
The Razorbacks head into a challenging road stretch this week, facing Alabama and Mississippi State before returning home to face Oklahoma on Oct. 30.
