No. 13 Texas Tech escapes with 28-26 win over No. 22 Houston when Cougars' 2-point conversion try fails

Thirteenth-ranked Texas Tech held off No. 22 Houston for a tight 28-26 victory after turning away an attempt at a game-tying two-point conversion at Galaxy Stadium. The narrow win allowed the Red Raiders to survive an uneven offensive start under head coach Joey McGuire.
