Nick Saban Sends Hopeful Message to WVU Fans After Painful Oklahoma State Loss

Following a forty-one to twenty-four defeat against Oklahoma State, legendary former coach Nick Saban offered words of encouragement to West Virginia supporters during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. The West Virginia native emphasized that the squad relies heavily on its ground game and must successfully dictate the line of scrimmage moving forward.

Despite the tough result, the Mountaineers generated impressive rushing numbers in the matchup, totaling three hundred thirty-four yards on the ground, highlighted by Cam Cook accumulating one hundred ninety-three yards and Michael Hawkins Jr. adding one hundred two yards along with three rushing scores.

Rich Rodriguez and his team now look to bounce back and capture their first Big 12 victory when they visit Iowa State on October third.
