NFL Power Rankings: Jayden Daniels’ injury sinks Washington Commanders

Following a surprising 33-31 home upset against the Seattle Seahawks, the Washington Commanders find themselves at a 1-2 record. Marcus Mariota directed the offense and capitalized on three defensive turnovers, which included a pick-six by Kain Medrano.

Despite the victory against last season's champions, national power rankings remain cautious, moving the team up to an average spot of 23.1 due to ongoing concerns regarding Jayden Daniels' injury and whether the veteran backup can sustain this momentum.

Looking ahead, Washington prepares for an international matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in London, where they will enter as underdogs for the fourth consecutive week. This upcoming contest precedes a critical stretch of games against the New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers before the team finally reaches its Week 7 bye.
