New Zealand create history with highest-ever T20I total against India; here's full list

New Zealand set a new benchmark for the highest T20I total against India, posting 259/7 during their clash at Eden Park. This performance eclipsed the previous record of 257/3 established by England earlier this year.

During the same match, Arshdeep Singh reached a personal milestone by securing his 150th T20I wicket. The result also marked a difficult defensive outing for India, who have now allowed opponents to surpass 200 runs on 11 separate occasions throughout 2026.

Shreyas Iyer, who won the toss and elected to field, also set a record for the most tosses won by a Full Member captain in a 25-match span.
