The New York Jets will be missing safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for their upcoming home contest against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed on Friday that Fitzpatrick cannot participate due to a groin problem sustained just six defensive snaps into the team's previous victory on the road against Tennessee.

His absence creates an added challenge against a dangerous Green Bay aerial attack led by quarterback Jordan Love.

Fitzpatrick is not the only contributor sidelined for the matchup. Glenn also designated defensive end Joseph Ossai inactive because of a foot issue, while rookie receiver Omar Cooper Jr.

will miss the contest with an injured ankle. Additionally, return specialist and running back Kene Nwangwu has been officially deactivated due to back trouble.
