Nebraska Football Opens Big Ten Play with Win at Michigan State

Nebraska advanced its record to 4-0 by defeating Michigan State 31-13 in its opening game of the Big Ten Conference. Quarterback Anthony Colandrea led the offense with 212 passing yards and two touchdowns while avoiding interceptions, alongside contributions from rushers Mekhi Nelson and Vincent Genatone.

Despite multiple player injuries and a scoreless third-quarter lull for the visiting offense, the team's defense secured six sacks and three takeaways, including interceptions by Owen Chambliss and Andrew Marshall, to keep the Spartans at bay.
