Napheesa Collier says she hasn't thought about free agency yet after Lynx's surprising first-round playoff exit

Following the Minnesota Lynx's unexpected early elimination from the postseason by the New York Liberty, unrestricted free agent Napheesa Collier stated she has not yet considered her future destination. Despite concluding a regular season defined by a 33-11 league-leading record and her recovery from ankle injuries, the five-star veteran emphasized her deep affection for the franchise and local community without making any immediate commitments.

In addition to her impending contract choice, Collier faces potential leadership decisions regarding the WNBA players union following Nneka Ogwumike's retirement, though she noted those discussions have also been put on hold while she processes the team's sudden playoff exit alongside returning core teammates like Natasha Howard, Courtney Williams, Kayla McBride, and Olivia Miles.
