Myles Garrett, Rams, may have a knee problem

Star pass rusher Myles Garrett experienced a rough introduction to his Los Angeles Rams tenure, struggling to make an impact during a 27-7 defeat against the San Francisco 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. Garrett, who was acquired from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for edge defender Jared Verse and a 2027 first-round selection, entered his tenth NFL campaign visibly limited on the field, being out-tackled on the stat sheet by wide receiver Puka Nacua.

Following the opening-week setback, the former Defensive Player of the Year conceded that he was dealing with knee soreness stemming from an issue during training camp. Acknowledging that he was far from full health and looked like an inferior iteration of his usual self, Garrett's physical limitations have sparked early concerns for the Rams as they evaluate his ongoing knee trouble.
