More Injury Trouble For Senators After Final Preseason Battles With Montreal

The Ottawa Senators wrapped up their exhibition schedule with a pair of split-squad contests against Montreal, finishing the preseason slate at 1-3-1 while leaning exclusively on power-play conversions for all six of their goals across both matches. However, the final tune-ups brought mounting health concerns as defenseman Jake Sanderson departed his preseason debut midway through the action, Andre Burakovsky exited following a third-period hit, and prospect Adam Nemec sustained an upper-body injury due to a hard collision into the glass.
