Canada and the United States will share co-hosting duties for the 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Cup, marking the first time the premier global tournament comes to North America. Federation leadership confirmed that Montreal and Quebec City will join three American locations to stage group matches and the opening knockout round from August 20 to September 5, 2027.
The competition will feature 32 national squads and serves as a vital qualification milestone ahead of the upcoming Olympic Games. Volleyball Canada officials noted that hosting the event provides an exceptional platform to grow the sport locally and inspire younger generations on home turf.
